Breastfeeding Pillow - Tutorial

(psst, don't forget to enter my AWESOME giveaway)

it's essentially a U  shaped bean bag... I got a 1.5 cubic foot Beanbag top-up bag for £3.50 at QD (which is similar to Wilkinson's if you don't have one near you) google it and the Internet will furnish you with suppliers, but because it's a bulky thing it's better to look in craft shops/furniture shops to see if you can pick it up locally and avoid the P+P charges

The outer fabric needs to be sturdy, and I suggest you make covers (I haven't yet... ) of course once you've made your pattern it's the same pattern/method for making covers... I wouldn't even bother with closures to be honest, just make slipcovers like pillowcases. The fabric I used was old curtains I got from a carboot sale for £2... and I've still got a whole curtain left over for other baby projects :-)

Everything else I used came out of my stash (well... the curtains were in my stash too... but that's because I'm a hoarder)

Total project price? £5.50
Price for a shiny new Boppy breastfeeding pillow? £49.99

That's a saving of  £44.49

I win
